Registration: Please note that we are accepting registrations for the CSA now.  Although the deadline for registration is Oct 1, signing up now will really help us plan for the season. Your thoughts might be turning to strawberries and asparagus with the sunny weather but we encourage you to think about winter for just one moment (I know it’s hard!) and think about how awesome it would be to know that come winter (and yes, it will come again), you will be in good hands. You will have preferential access to all our meats, our eggs, and new this year, prepared foods such as soups and frozen entrees made with Green Being ingredients. It is our commitment to give our members an eating experience that will make you look forward to winter! But we need commitment from our members now so that we can plan for, and finance, our growing season. If you want on board, do your farmers a favour and sign up now. Membership is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Locations: Shares will be delivered to central locations in Guelph, Waterloo, Cambridge and Fergus. You can also pick up at the farm in Neustadt.

Don’t live in any of these places? If you live elsewhere and think you could generate enough interest to get 15 members signed up in your area, let us know. The exact location in each city will be announced closer to CSA time.

Schedule: Drop-offs will be on Tuesdays between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. They are biweekly and begin the last week in October and run until the second week of February.

Payments:

Two share sizes are available:

• Small:  $240 ($12-15 of produce/week)
• Large:  $345 ($18-20 of produce/week)

Please include your phone number, address and e-mail address, as well as your selected pickup location and share size. Cheques can be made out to Green Being Farm.  We will send you a confirmation email and receipt when we receive payment.

Membership Agreement

• All members will receive vegetables at the weekly pick-up location from the last week in October and run until the 2nd week of February
• If you can’t make it to the pick-up, you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Otherwise, your share will be donated to a local food program or composted and returned to the soil.
• Although members are encouraged to commit for a full season, it is possible to cancel a membership at any point with 2 weeks notice and obtain a full refund for the remaining weeks.
• Members are asked to bring their own bags to the pickup.
